Beach gear delivery

Beach Chair & Gear Rental in Pass-a-Grille

We deliver beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, wagons and games to the cottages, condos and vacation rentals in Pass-a-Grille, then collect everything at the end of your stay. Given how parking works down here, it’s the part of the coast where having gear waiting at the house makes the biggest difference.

Pass-a-Grille is the hardest place on this coast to arrive with gear

It’s the best stretch of sand on the barrier islands and the most annoying place to leave a car. The historic district is a narrow grid on a dead end: almost everything south of 8th Avenue is residential, there are more metered spaces than anywhere else in St. Pete Beach, and there are also more streets where parking will get you a ticket.

Metered parking runs $5 an hour Monday through Thursday and $6 Friday through Sunday, plus a $1-an-hour surcharge in peak season, roughly February through April. If the meters are full there is nowhere else to go but back up the island. The full picture — which streets have pay stations, where the free two-hour spots are, and when it fills — is in our Pass-a-Grille parking guide.

If you’re staying down here, none of that has to be your problem. You walk to the sand and the gear is already at the house.

What it costs

Packages start at $175 for three days, delivered and collected. The ones that suit Pass-a-Grille:

  • No Fuss Beach Day — $175 / 3 days. Two chairs, an umbrella, a wagon, a cooler, a sand-free mat and towels. Most Pass-a-Grille stays are couples or two people, and this is the right size for that.

  • SPF 50 Social Club — $250 / 3 days. Premium chairs, a neutral cooler, insulated tumblers and oversized towels — a cleaner setup for slow mornings and sunset.

  • Leisure League — $225 / 3 days. Tommy Bahama style chairs, a premium umbrella or canopy, a premium cooler and bocce.

Family and group packages are available too — Sandcastle Club ($200), Group Chat Bundle ($250) and the Gulf Shore Takeover ($1,150). See all packages and rental windows.

Where we deliver in Pass-a-Grille

The whole southern tip — the cottages and homes on the numbered avenues, the condos along Gulf Way and Pass-a-Grille Way, and the inns and short-term rentals in the historic district. We drop at the property, so a wagon on a narrow street is our problem rather than yours.

One thing to plan around

The Suncoast Beach Trolley does not come down here. Its southern terminus is 75th Avenue, up at the north end of St. Pete Beach — several miles short of Pass-a-Grille. A lot of travel write-ups say the trolley “serves St. Pete Beach,” which is true and misleading at the same time. If you’re carless in Pass-a-Grille, see a beach day without a car.

How it works

  1. Tell us your dates and where you’re staying.

  2. We deliver to your stay before your beach day.

  3. We pick it up from the agreed spot at the end.

We confirm availability and send a simple rental agreement first.
